Back to School Youth Night!! 4:30 – 6pm followed by the Coffey Anderson concert. We will have food, games, and music. Bring $5 for the concert (this is the student discount; regular tickets are $7.) This is for all 6th – 12th graders. Come and bring a friend.
Cornerstone Kids Ministry is growing! We have switched classrooms around and added an extra one! Nursery = birth to non walkers; Toddler Class 1 = ages 1 -2; Toddler Class 2 = ages 2 -3; Pre K = ages 3 -5; K- 2nd grade; and 3rd – 5th grade. If you have any questions regarding which class your child should attend, please make sure to see Brandy. With the added growth, we also have a need for additional workers. Now is a great time to get involved with Cornerstone Kids! Please see Brandy if you would like to volunteer.
We will have another semester of LifeGroups starting in September. We want to encourage you to consider leading or hosting a group. LifeGroups are a great way to get connected and grow at Cornerstone. We have a lot of great resources to help you get started. If you would like to lead or host a group, please let one of the Cornerstone elders know. The fall semester will typically last for three months and finish up before the busy Christmas season.

Twin County Hospice of TCRH will host their annual Camp Healing Hearts this Saturday, August 22, from 9 – 4pm at Camp Dickenson. This day camp offers support to area children and adolescents that have experienced the death of a loved one. For more info or to register, please contact Twin County Hospice at (276) 236-0973.
God’s Pit Crew is in need of replenishing their relief supplies at their warehouse. A Blessing Bucket Drive has been organized and we have the opportunity to help replenish their warehouse. The dates for all the collecting events, along with a shopping list, can be found on our website and also on a flyer at the Resource Table.
Cornerstone Cafe – If you enjoy a donut on Sunday mornings, please consider signing up to bring some to share. The sign up sheet is located on the coffee table in the cafe. Thanks to everyone who has already signed up!
