December Free Community Meal – New Year’s Eve
Join us Wednesday, December 31st, for our monthly free community meal. This month we will be celebrating New Year’s Eve with chili and nachos! Come celebrate the many blessings of 2014 and end the year with fellowship. You can sign up to help here.

Local Adult Angel Tree Recipients
Cornerstone has received 12 local adult Angel Tree recipients. These are different from our Prison Fellowship Angel Tree recipients which focus on gifts for children. If you would like to bless a local adult with a gift this Christmas, please pick up an Angel at the Resource Table and have the gift returned back to Cornerstone no later than December 17. Willing Partners in Need of Volunteers
Willing Partners has been blessed with an enormous amount of donations. They are needing help processing the donations to get them sorted and ready for either selling or distributing to those in need. They will train volunteers on how this is done. Cornerstone Kids and the Christmas Parade
Cornerstone Kids (Kindergarten through 5th grade) will meet at 6 pm on Friday at the church to ride in the Christmas Parade. Kids can dress like elves or in their favorite Christmas attire. After the Parade Open House
Our annual After the Parade Open House is this Friday, December 5th. This year the Galax Fire Department will be selling Christmas trees, wreaths, and baskets in the parking lot beside our church to raise money for the food boxes for the less fortunate families in our area. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these items will go directly to buy food! Our Youth Worship Team Has a New CD
In March, four of our Cornerstone teens won the Voices of the New River contest. Their prize was thirty hours of recording time in the studio. They have finished recording and their new CD is now available. Their name, Splitting Cedars, is taken from Psalm 29:5 and they have recorded six worship songs, many of which we sing at Cornerstone.
