This week, we start our Christmas series The King: Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. The wise men, also known as the Magi, were wise and learned men who followed a star to Bethlehem in order to find and worship the newborn King of the Jews, Jesus Christ. The wise men brought three gifts as an expression of worship. In this series, we will learn about the significance of their gifts and see how it affects our worship today. Today, we study the gift of gold and see how it shows the Kingship of Jesus.
