Hey it’s Mia Llamas. I am excited to announce that for my 15th Birthday I am raising money for Water Missions. I started this when I was 8 and have a passion for helping people get clean water to drink. I will be holding a Water Walk, selling t-shirts and taking donations. I designed the shirt myself with Bahama colors because Water Missions is helping to provide them with clean water after the hurricane but also because the founder, Molly Greene, lost her life in a tragic accident in the Bahamas in July. Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday and Molly’s legacy. I hope you will all join me in walking and learning what it is like to walk miles to get drinking water every day.
Every day millions of people have to walk miles and miles just for water. Most of the time, the water they can find is contaminated and makes them sick. I am excited because Water Mission is changing lives, one community at a time, through their sustainable safe water solutions while sharing the love of Jesus! They respond to the natural disasters too like the one in the Bahamas. Join me as we Walk for Water to celebrate my 15th birthday!
Each dollar raised by this event is going to make an impact through a safe water community development project! Won’t you consider making a donation to support our vision?
Thank you so much for your support, and we hope you will walk with us too!
