Galax Soup Kitchen Thanksgiving Meal (Wed, November 24, 2021, 4:00 – 6:00 pm)
Hello Cornerstone! We have a community service opportunity coming up next week right before Thanksgiving and we are hoping you can help us fulfill this need. Specifically, we will be fulfilling the meal for the Galax Soup Kitchen on Wednesday, the 24th of November. The church will provide many of the resources using monies from our Engage Fund to provide hams, rolls, green beans, and paper products, but we are asking the Cornerstone community to help us by preparing sides of mashed potatoes, homemade desserts, canned drinks, and we also need several servers.

Finally, please bring your prepared food to God’s Storehouse Soup Kitchen, 206 N. Main Street, Galax, between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm. You can also drop them off at the church’s own Center 2:42 from 12:00 noon until 3:30 pm (we will be taking everything over to the Soup Kitchen at 3:30). Thank you!
