We want to invite you to join us for our fall training event on Tuesday, September 12th! This is for all of our volunteers to learn more about the changes for our upcoming season of the warming shelter. Our plans are to be open for many more nights this winter, and we are changing how groups and individuals can sign up to volunteer.
Come learn more about the work we are doing, and sign up to help this winter! We will have refreshments and coffee, and our meeting will last from 7 to 8:30 on Tuesday, September 12th. We will once again be meeting at and using Center 2:42 located behind Cornerstone Community Church at 227 South Main Street in Galax.
We will be asking churches, businesses, and organizations to sign up for either 1, 2, 3, or even 4 nights per month. Our goal is to fill up 31 days each month, so that every single night for the entire winter is covered! We will also need individuals to volunteer to help. Come join us and learn more!!
