For Christmas this year, we invite you to share the Christmas story and explain why Jesus came with your family. During Part 4 of our Christmas Special which will be broadcast live on Wednesday, December 23rd at noon and 7pm, Mike will lead your families in a time of Communion. If you are unable to join live during our Christmas Special, we invite you to celebrate the Lord’s Supper at any time before Christmas.
If you would prefer to use our pre-filled communion cups with bread, we will have them available at the church on Tuesday, December 22nd through Thursday, December 24th. They will be at the back door near the children’s entrance. Just pick up what you need!
Here is a short video showing how you can make your own communion bread.
Here is the recipe for the bread
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp honey
- 1/4 tsp salt
Combine all ingredients
Knead for 3 minutes
Cut into shapes or strips
Prick with a fork
Bake at 400 for 5-8 minutes
