This past Wednesday, our church suffered a tragic loss. Mike Hutchison, the chairman of our Administrative Team, went home to be with the Lord. Mike passed away suddenly while biking on the trail. We ask that you continue to pray for his family and friends during this difficult time.
Mike was truly a Godly, gentle, caring, and patient follower of Christ. He was always eager to serve, and he greeted everyone with a smile on Sunday mornings at Cornerstone. His leadership and his friendship will be greatly missed.
We wanted to let our Cornerstone family know about the funeral arrangements.
The family will receive friends on Monday night, January 2nd, from 6 to 8pm at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg. The funeral will also be at McCoy Funeral home on Tuesday, January 3rd, at 2pm.
