Youth will meet this evening from 6:30—8pm.
First Sunday of the Month—Tonight! Have you ever tried to lead a discussion with others about the Bible? How did you feel? Intimidated? Scared? Frustrated? It can be a struggle to keep the focus of the group moving in the right direction. Whether it is a Bible study with your family, with your coworkers, or with a LifeGroup at Cornerstone, we all can learn to be better facilitators and teachers. At this First Sunday (May 3rd), we will focus on practical ways to study, prepare, and lead small group discussions centered around Biblical topics. We will share resources, tips, and strategies for going deeper in the Word and applying it to your life. Afterwards, we will share communion together. The service will begin at 6:30pm.
Uprising—A Night of Worship. Join others in our community for a night of worship on Saturday, May 23rd, 6:30pm, at the Rex Theater. This is free and organized by Cornerstone Community Church, Out of the Box Worship Center, Christ Chapel, and Cliffview Church of God.
Are you new at Cornerstone? Do you want to learn more about our church? If so, then we invite you to signup for our next Discover Cornerstone Lunch. We will meet in the community room downstairs on May 31st after our second service. We will share about the vision and mission of Cornerstone, and we will share opportunities for getting involved and connected at Cornerstone. It’s also your chance to ask questions and meet our leadership team. We will have pizza and drinks, and childcare will be provided if needed. Pre-register for this class through our website or at the Resource Table. Our next Membership Class will be held June 28.
Spirit FM will be having a Mom to Mom Diaper Drive on Tuesday, May 12, from 2-7pm at the Galax Walmart. All diapers will go to the Tri-Area Pregnancy Center.
