Here are the announcements that will be in the bulletin this Sunday, March 29th.
The Youth will meet from 5-8pm. We will have an Easter Scavenger Hunt. Please bring money for dinner ($5 or $6—you will eat with your group). Youth can be picked up at the church at 8pm.
Discover Cornerstone Lunch – If you pre-registered for the Discover Cornerstone Lunch, we will meet after the second service in the community room downstairs.
Why does the resurrection matter? Join us next week at Cornerstone for a weekend celebrating the fact that Jesus is Alive!
- On Saturday, April 4th, we will have an Easter Fun Day for our Cornerstone Kids! Games, snacks, a scavenger hunt, and much more will be from 10am-12pm in our downstairs kids’ area. We ask that a parent or guardian stay during this event. For more info, contact Brandy at [email protected].
- On Easter Sunday, April 5th, we will have a Celebration Communion Service from 7:30am-8:00 in our Worship Center. At 8am, we will have a potluck breakfast. And we will have our Easter Service at our normal worship times of 9:15 and 11am. Invite someone to join you! We’ll be sharing more information throughout the week online on our website and on Facebook.
The Galax Area Ministerial Association invites you to the community Holy Week Services on Monday, March 30th through Friday, April 3rd, from noon to 1pm. The services will be held at First Christian Church in Galax. Fellowship meals and special music will be provided by local churches. On Monday Cornerstone will be providing the music and food. We invite you to come be a part.
