Today, we continue our sermon series about the fruit of the Spirit. We want to get really practical about what the Spirit of God produces in us. It is a singular fruit—perhaps best summarized as Christlikeness, that the Spirit produces, and it is defined in Galatians 5 by nine different characteristics. Last week, we discussed how we reflect Christ in our attitudes through love, joy & peace. This week we look at how patience, kindness and goodness are less about how a person feels and more about our relationship with other people.
Sermon Notes:
Patience is the ability to endure hardship and inconvenience without losing your composure.
Kindness is being generous with your time, affection, and encouragement.
Goodness is the ability to do the right thing, even when it’s hard.
