Follow Me – Week 5 – The Church

What does it mean to be a member of the body of Christ? Is local church membership really important? David Platt shares in the book Follow Me that the church is a local body of baptized believers joined together under biblical leadership to grow in the likeness of Christ and to express the love of Christ to one another and to the world around them. You cannot be a devoted disciple of Christ and you cannot fully make disciples of Christ apart from total commitment to a church.
