Today, we continue a sermon series called Equipping: The Work of Ministry. In this series, we are going to be studying how the church should function as the body of Christ. All believers have been given spiritual gifts which exist so that we can build up the body of Christ and be a blessing to others. Today, we look at 1 Corinthians and learn how we find our place in the body of Christ.

Ground Rules for Using our Gifts in the Church:
1) Our spiritual gifts are intended to build up the body
2) Spiritual gifts will never contradict or add to Scripture
3) Spiritual gifts must be used in order and under authority
4) Spiritual maturity is reflected in fruit, not gifts
