Exciting News for Summer!
This summer we are planning to take a group to Wayfarer Camp in Myrtle Beach, SC. Check out the details below and mark your calendars!
When: July 8-12th (that is a Monday – Friday) Who: Students that have completed 8th grade
What: Wayfarer Camp incorporates worship, discipleship and service all rolled into one camp. Each day there is a time of worship, group and individual Bible study and local mission projects. It is a great way for your teens to connect to Jesus, their friends and to put what they are learning into practice by serving others.
How much: The cost of camp includes all meals (except for travel meals – lunch on the way down and lunch on the way back) and lodging at Barefoot Resort and transportation. The total cost of the trip is about $400 per student. Cornerstone Youth will pay at least $150 per student. That leaves $250 per student. We will do a couple of creative fundraisers at youth and there will be sponsorships available. Hopefully, we will be able to get the cost as low as possible. Do not let lack of funds prevent you from going. God will provide through His people and church.
How to sign up: We must get commitments soon. The application and first deposit of $50 will be due on March 10th (sooner if possible). I know it’s early but the camp and accommodations fill up quickly.
