Give Back To Our Community
We have two ways you can give back to our community. First, we are collecting supplies for our teachers at Galax. You can also give back by donating diapers to our local Pregnancy Center. See the posters below for more info.
Cornerstone Kids Summer Fun Day
Cornerstone Kids (0-4th grade) and their families are invited for a play date and hotdogs! This is a great opportunity to meet families you haven’t been able to meet yet! This event will be on Saturday, August 7th, and will start at 11 and end at 2. We hope you can join us! Please RSVP by contacting Brandy at [email protected]
Discover Lunch
Are you new at Cornerstone? Do you want to learn more about our church? Do you want to get connected and learn how to get involved? Are you ready to join our Cornerstone family? If so, then we invite you to join us for our Discover Cornerstone lunch and class. We will meet at Center 2:42 after the second service on August 22nd. Please preregister to let us know if you can attend.
We will share the vision and mission of Cornerstone, and we will share opportunities for getting involved and connected at Cornerstone. It’s also your chance to ask questions and meet our leadership team. We will have pizza and drinks, and childcare will be provided if needed.
We will also let you know about serving opportunities, upcoming LifeGroups, and our membership process. Come join us and discover your next step at Cornerstone.

Church Picnic and Baptism
We hope you’ll join us Sunday, August 29th, for Cornerstone’s annual Baptism & Potluck Picnic. In years past, this has been one of our most well-attended events. This year we’ll gather at 4:30 pm at the Belton’s Legacy Creek in Baywood (638 Old Baywood Road • Galax, VA). The baptism service will start at 5:00 pm using our Holy Hot Tub (you can drop off your food first if you’d like). We should be eating by 5:30 pm and around 6:00 pm we’ll start our first-ever CCC Cornhole Tournament – start getting your teams together now! Cornerstone will provide the drinks and paper products and we’re asking every family to bring at least one main dish, and either a side dish or dessert to share.
