We are excited about our 2020 Christmas Offering! Each year, those who attend Cornerstone Community Church have made it our mission to honor the gift God gave us in the birth of Jesus by beginning our gift-giving at Christmas with a gift to Him. This simple idea has become what is known as our annual Christmas Offering. In the past, we have used this offering to support local ministries, to help us purchase our building, and to establish our Engage Fund which we use for missions throughout the year.
Since 2011, we have collected over $170,000 through our Christmas Offering!!!! Our normal missions giving as part of our budget has been over $270,000 in that same time period. Cornerstone is a generous church that believes in giving back and making a difference in our community.

Because We Care Ministries in Nicaragua
We have partnered with BWCM and Don Gillette for over a decade. 2020 has been tough for missionaries who were unable to bring teams into the country. On top of that, Nicaragua has suffered through two major hurricanes over the past months, devastating crops and causing hunger across the country. This money will be used to continue medical, feeding, and clothing ministries throughout Nicaragua
The Hope House
We believe in the mission of the Hope House in Galax and have supported them faithfully through the years. The Hope House is our local homeless shelter that provides transitional housing for those in need. We have seen the fruit of this ministry as we have seen many lives changed.
Car Seats for Foster Parents
This is another opportunity to help those families serving as foster parents. We found out about a local need and we want to meet that need. We will use funds to supply our local foster agencies with car seats to provide to those in need.
We want to thank you for your generosity in serving and supporting our community. Even though 2020 may not have turned out like we expected, we know we still have hope this Christmas. Let’s share that hope! We will collect this offering from now until the end of the year.
