Christmas is a special time here at Cornerstone. Together, we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us at 227 South Main Street in Downtown Galax this Christmas season.

Here are the details of our services and activities over the next few weeks.
Sunday, December 17th
On Sunday, December 17th, we kick off our new Christmas series at Cornerstone called The Star during our 9:15 and 11am morning worship service. We are on a journey towards hope, love, joy, and peace this Christmas. And we are going to celebrate with a little joy of our own. We do fun stuff because we are a church that loves to celebrate; so it’s a great Sunday to invite a friend or check us out for the first time! Wear your brightest and loudest and most joyful Christmas outfit and join us. We promise there will be more than just ugly sweaters as we anticipate The Arrival of Christmas!
Sunday, December 24th
Christmas Eve Morning
Church on Christmas Eve? Yes! Join us at our normally scheduled times of 9:15am or 11:00 a.m. for a joyful celebration of Christ’s birth. Come to church to celebrate with your Cornerstone family. Our services will be family friendly and all Cornerstone Kids will be upstairs for the service.
We’ll sing carols while having a great time of worship, we’ll enjoy a short message from Mike, and we will even have a special time for our Cornerstone Kids during the service. We will also live stream our services on Facebook if you are unable to join us in person.

Christmas Eve Communion Service
Cornerstone will be open on Christmas Eve from 6-8pm for your family to come and share communion together. We will have interactive stations set up to walk through the life of Christ. You can stop in any time and go through the stations at your own pace. An elder will be present at the church the entire time if you need any help.
Our Christmas Offering – Your Opportunity to Be a Blessing
On December 17th and 24th during our normal morning worship services, we will be collecting a Christmas love offering. A love offering is a special offering that is above and beyond your normal giving to the church. We encourage you to prayerfully and sacrificially give so that we can continue to reach people in our community for Christ through missions and service.
Throughout the history of Cornerstone, we have given over $100,000 back to our community. This year, we want to use this Christmas offering to bless three separate ministries. The Christmas offering this year will be divided evenly between The Hope House, God’s Storehouse Community Kitchen, and Willing Partners. All three ministries do a great job of ministering to people in need in our community.
