As many of you know the U.S. Postal service has a food drive scheduled for Saturday. You may have received a postcard in the mail asking you to leave in or near your mailbox food items, canned and boxed, and they will pickup for a local food bank. Willing Partners is where the food will be going.
As many of you know the U.S. Postal service has a food drive scheduled for Saturday. You may have received a postcard in the mail asking you to leave in or near your mailbox food items, canned and boxed, and they will pickup for a local food bank. Willing Partners is where the food will be going.
Willing Partners will be needing help to gather and load the food at the post office, taking it to Willing Partners, then sorting the food and getting it ready to distribute. They are needing help from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm. If you can help please let us know. You can help for a couple of hours or the entire time.
I have helped with this in the past and it is amazing to see the community pulling together and helping each other. This would be a great project for a “Life Group”.
