We have started a new series at Cornerstone. During the Christmas season, we will look at how Christ’s birth changed the entire course of history. We even separate history according to Jesus’ birth (B.C. to A.D.)! The birth of Jesus is the dividing line of all history. He changed the world by entering history as God in flesh, and He can change our lives as well.
This is the perfect time to invite someone to join you for church. A simple invitation can change someone’s life for all of eternity. So who will you invite this Christmas? And, if you haven’t been at Cornerstone in a while, this is the perfect time to join us as we continue learning why Christmas matters.
Here is a listing of all of our Christmas services and plans at Cornerstone:
Christmas Eve Communion Service
Cornerstone will be open on Christmas Eve from 5-7pm for your family to come and share communion together. We will have interactive stations set up to walk through the life of Christ. You can stop in any time and go through the stations at your own pace. An elder will be present at the church the entire time if you need any help.
Christmas Day Service
Join us at 11:00 a.m. on Christmas Morning for a joyful celebration of Christ’s birth. Enjoy your early morning Christmas activities and then head to church to celebrate with your Cornerstone family. We will only have one family friendly service at 11am. All Cornerstone Kids will be upstairs for the service. We’ll sing carols while having a great time of worship, we’ll enjoy a short message from Mike, and we will even have a special time for our Cornerstone Kids during the service. We will also live stream our services on Facebook if you are unable to join us in person.
Since we are only having one service, we are expecting a large crowd. We will keep the service short, and we will also have overflow seating available downstairs in the children’s area.
Our Year End Christmas Offering
And finally, our Christmas offering is off to a great start. Our Christmas offering this year will go to expand our ministry efforts at Cornerstone. We also want to finish the current year strong so that we can continue doing the ministry and work that God has called us to do. It is an exciting time at Cornerstone as we continue to equip disciples who engage our community and world for Christ. We ask that you prayerfully consider how you can support the work and ministry of Cornerstone. Our church is making a huge difference here in Galax and around the world.
