Over the past several years, occasionally we have offered church-wide studies to get everyone studying and talking about the same topic. We have seen higher LifeGroup participation during these church-wide studies, and some of our most memorable sermons and groups have been during these times.
We are excited to announce that we are starting a new series this week at Cornerstone called Freeway: A Not So Perfect Guide to Freedom. It’s a series that will teach us about grace and about second chances. As part of this church-wide study, we will be starting several new LifeGroups. Now is the perfect time for you to signup for a group. Signing up is easy, you can just go to our website and pick a group that fits your schedule. Our LifeGroups are a great way to get connected with other believers at Cornerstone. They are also a safe place for you to ask questions and grow in your faith.
New Groups will be starting next week. We have groups on Sunday night, Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday nights, so there is a time that will work for everyone. Several groups meet in homes, and several meet at the church.

Each participant in a LifeGroup will need to purchase a workbook. The church will help subsidize these so that everyone can participate. The reduced cost will be only $5 per person for the workbook. These are highly interactive, but not too time-consuming. They will help each person prepare for the group each week and work through the topics at their own speed. The church has already purchased a large quantity of these workbooks and you will be able to get yours at the Cornerstone Resource Counter this Sunday.

What is a LifeGroup?
A LifeGroup is made up of a small group of people who gather together to share life together. Its purpose is for individuals to get involved in other’s lives in order to encourage each other, pray for each other, rejoice with each other, hold each other accountable, and help each other become and live as a disciple of Jesus Christ. This is your chance to take a step of faith to connect and grow in Biblical Community. And it’s a lot of fun too!
