Downtown Halloween Bash
Cornerstone will be setting up a booth outside of Cones and Coffee. Come dressed up as your favorite Super Hero and help us pass out treats and play games with the kids! Contact Brandy if you would like to volunteer to work a one hour shift. Hundreds of kids come by our booth each year so we could still use a lot of candy and help!
Coat Give Away
Saturday morning from 8am – 12pm is our Annual Coat Giveway! We are still in need of gently used coats, hats, gloves/mittens, and scarves. Please bring any donations by the church prior to Saturday morning. Next Saturday (November 8th) our Clothing Closet will be opened. Clothes and toiletry items can be dropped off at the church and placed in the bins located in the cafe area.
Po’ Man’s Supper
Come support the Galax Hope House on Saturday beginning at 4pm. They are having a Po’ Man’s Supper (hot soup and sandwich with drink) by donation only. This is being held at the Galax Elks Lodge from 4-6pm. An auction begins at 6pm with many great items to be auctioned off: three Myrtle Beach vacations, Tweetsie Railroad tickets, homemade quilt, drum set, jewelry, tool sets, hunting packages, gas cards, gift cards for restaurants and sooo much more! This is a great way to help support a much needed ministry in our area.

Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday morning at 2am. Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday evening. If you forget, you will be one hour early for church!
