Join us this Sunday, August 4th, from 5 to 9pm at Camp Dickenson.
This is a great time of fun and fellowship and a great opportunity to encourage those who are being baptized. It’s also a great way to meet people who attend Cornerstone at a different service time than you. We’ll start the baptism at 5pm with the picnic to follow. The pool will also be open for swimming. We’re asking every family to bring two dishes: one main and one of either a vegetable or dessert. We’ll provide the paper products and drinks.
New Directions to Camp Dickenson!!
Due to the heavy rains that we have had, Hwy 94 near the bridge has been closed due to damage. You’ll need to follow these directions to get to the Camp:
From Glendale Road turn onto Cliffview Road.
Go 2.0 miles and bear right on Route 607.
Take the next left onto Fries Road/721.
Stay on Fries Road/721 through the town of Fries.
Bear left on 94 South, as you near the dam on the New River.
Go 3.2 miles. Take a left onto Lime Kiln Road. (Camp Dickenson sign)
Stay on Lime Kiln Road, 1.3 miles.
Turn left onto Camp Dickenson Lane, gravel road (Camp Dickenson sign).
Turn left by the white farm house, go up hill and you’ll find us!
