Community Back to School Bash – Midway Baptist Church

You’re invited to a Community Back to School Bash on Sunday Evening, August 5th, from 6-8pm on the Campus of Midway Baptist Church on Iron Ridge Road in Galax. The purpose of the event is to share God’s love and concern for our community. We realize that many families are struggling financially and the thought of getting the kids ready for school is an added burden. So this event will offer free haircuts, a package of free school supplies, free food, and a clothes closet that individuals can look through for free “gently worn” clothes (any donations are appreciated). We will also focus on FUN! This event will feature a 55’ Inflatable Obstacle Course, an Inflatable Bouncy House, Face Painting, Corn Hole Tournament and singing and music provided by the Cornerstone Praise Team. A free drawing for a laptop computer and gift cards will also take place. Bring your lawn chair and experience a wonderful evening as we enjoy being part of a great community.
