It’s National Men’s Health week! Men’s Health Week is celebrated each year as the week leading up to and including Father’s Day. The purpose of Men’s Health Week is to enhance the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection of disease among men. This Sunday at Cornerstone our faith nurse, Larissa Baker and helper, Shirley Lephew, will be in the cafe to encourage men to seek regular medical advice and early treatment for disease with awareness activities. They will offer health screenings such as blood pressure, blood sugars, weight, sun damage and information regarding diabetes, hypertension, Lyme’s disease, etc. Make sure to stop by and check it out!
